I haven't updated my blog for a while cos I have been spending lots of time with my family, and didn't get much time at all to sit in front of the computer and blog. So here is what has happened in the last few days. In a previous blog, I had been stressing out about not getting a phonecall from HP to confirm a date for the final interview. I did get the call eventually, and it was on a Monday afternoon. I had my final interview yesterday morning, and it took almost 2 hours. I faced a panel of 3 people, so it was also fairly intimidating, as I had to make sure that I showed my capabilities as well as my own personality and demonstrate that I can work well at HP and fit within the HP corporate culture. It was also during the interview that I found out they were only hiring ONE graduate for the Melbourne office, not the 11 I initially thought from a previous e-mail I received, so it is incredibly competitive (2700 people applied)!

Well, I received some AWESOME news this morning. I got a call from HP, and I got a job offer! WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!! I cannot stop screaming (absolutely piercing screams, my bf keeps trying to get me to calm down and stop me from potentially hurting myself, LOL), I have been jumping up and down like an absolute nut, I just can't contain my excitement!! This really is such perfect timing, cos my graduation ceremony is tonight, so it couldn't be anymore fitting! On top of that, I can't believe I don't actually have to go through the whole job hunt process, cos to me, that has been the most frustrating bit. And it's so cool to be able to share such good news with my family actually here with me, rather than me telling them over the phone and be miles away. A really great start to the morning, and I couldn't ask for more!

It has been full-fledged drama and hysteria here for me, I have screamed so much, I hope I don't scare the neighbours and find cops at my door or something, LOL. Oh, what a happy day for Her Drama-ness! :)

I really hate feeling pissed off in the morning, what a bad start to a day! An eBay auction of mine ended late last night, and it was a multiple item listing. One of the winning bidders (an idiotic newbie) e-mailed me AFTER the auction had ended, saying, "Oh, sorry, I thought I was bidding for all of the items, not just one, I won't pay for it then." What a complete idiot! I am fine with newbies, after all, that's where I started on eBay. But at least be a smart newbie! Check out all the information, ask before you bid, it's all stated there, what a stupid person. And if you did screw up, it's your mistake, now I have to deal with someone else's responsibility, which really annoys the hell out of me.

People who don't READ and PROCESS information and PAY ATTENTION to the details provided also tick me off. Another winning bidder from the same auction tried to make payment via Paypal with credit card, which I clearly stated on my auction that I will not be able to accept. After the auction ended, I even sent out an e-mail saying the same thing, but nope, that didn't seem to get through, I checked my e-mail this morning, and there it is, a credit card payment via Paypal which is useless to me. *sigh* I had to deny it, send out the same information for the 3rd time, if you need to pay via credit card, NO Paypal, only Paymate. Maybe I need to do some stick figure illustrations in my e-mails before people get it.

Well, there you go. Yet another morning in the life of Your Drama-ness. Stupid people piss me off! URRGH!!!

...ring ring, ring?...

I have been looking for a job for about a month now, and yippee yay to me, I managed to progress through to the final round of job interviews for a graduate program position at Hewlett-Packard. Well, I was supposed to get a call today to confirm a specific time and date for my final interview, but I didn't get one! :( I did ring the number that I had, but there was no answer. I am trying to stay positive and not freak out (which I tend to do at times), it could be just that the guy was too busy to call me today, and will probably arrange a time for the final interview on Monday. As long as I get my chance, I'm not too fussed when! I am keeping my fingers crossed!

My family will also be coming over from Singapore for my graduation ceremony next Thursday, and they will be arriving on Sunday morning at 4.30 am. Weeee...that will be fun, I will be sure to pump some Red Bull into me! I need to get the house cleaned up and make sure that everything's presentable, and that's probably gonna take me all of tonight and tomorrow. Starting from Sunday, it's gonna be a huge week, my family arrives, my mother's birthday on Monday, my final interview at HP (hopefully!), graduation ceremony on Thursday. Those are just the big events, who knows what other activities I will be up to!

Well, I think that's enough blogging for tonight. It's time for Her Drama-ness to tend to her housewife duties.

The beginning...

Here it is. I have finally created a blog. Number 1, why a blog? Well, I have always been interested in blogging, but for some reason, just never got off my ass to start one. Somehow, I felt motivated to set up the blog today, and you are witness to the birth of its creation! *insert evil laughter*

Number 2, why the title? According to my other half, I am a bit of a drama queen (as demonstrated by evil laughter for no reason), and during one of my usual hysterics, he suddenly went "Her Drama-ness", as in like Her Highness, and hey, I thought it sounded pretty good, and it is now the official title of my blog. I can't promise drama in every post, but I will endeavour to be hysterical once in a while. *grin*

This will be my space, where I will post my ramblings, bitch and complain when I feel like it, and basically just let loose. All salute Her Drama-ness! :)
