Her Drama-ness

Actually, I have been back for a while. Arrived back in Melbourne last Sunday, but I was so tired that day I just didn't want to do anything. It was back to work the following Monday so I didn't really have time to post. The week flew by pretty quick, it's already Friday evening, and another weekend is here! I won't post much now, just wanted to say hi to those who have been checking in, no matter how few there are of you. Thanks, and I'll try to share more about my holiday in my next post! :)

Details of piece: This is 'The Marriage Tree' by Raise the Roof Designs. I stitched it on 32-count Lugana fabric by Sugar Maple Fabrics, 'Papilio Ulysses', which was from one of the Collaboration packs from last year.

Here it is, finally finished! Oh boy, did I cut it close! One hour before I leave for the airport *grin* This will be pressed nicely when I return to Singapore and I will have it framed there as well. It would have been really cool to have framed it myself over here in Australia, imagine, I could have said that it was stitched AND framed by me! Oh well, time did not permit, and it's all cool. Probably should let a professional do this one anyways, since it's supposed to be a wedding/anniversary gift, hee hee. Alrighty, this is the last post before I leave, off to make sure I've got everything packed! I will see if I can post while on my holidays, if not, I will share all of my experiences once I'm back. Don't miss me too much! LOL. *wink* :)

Well, I am almost finished with this one. There is some backstitching on the tree trunk to do, I need to finish up the apple in the tree, and the finishing touches would be to personalise the piece. Otherwise, it's a fairly complete piece! Like I said, all I needed was to hustle, and I jusssssstttttt made it, right before I need to leave for my holiday, hee hee. I will pay for this dearly tomorrow, it's not fun sleeping this late and then having to wake up at 6 am! Yikes!

On a separate note, I also checked in for my flight on Friday night (technically Saturday morning), so I've got my seat number, all I need to do is check in my luggage. Easy-peasy. And there is a special line for internet check-ins too, so no ridiculous long queues for me!

Okay, no more rambling from me, time to get to bed, wish me luck at work tomorrow (technically today), and I will share the final picture when I have this one completed! Nitey nite! :)

Nate DIES?! Well, I guess I kinda saw it coming, but still, it's totally unexpected. I'm at a loss, I need the next episode, I need to know what happens. AHHHHHH..... So much for a happy ever after huh? Too much to ask for on Six Feet Under, I suppose. Can the next episode get here faster? And I better get to bed now....you see, this staying up late thing would never happen if Terrence was around, LOL.
