My dog is a pervert

I have been noticing something very weird lately. I have been finding underwear scattered around the bedroom floor along with some miscellaneous items from the laundry basket. I knew it was the dogs, and I thought it was most likely Reuben than Banzai, as this has never happened with Banzai before, but I couldn't be absolutely sure, and I didn't want to punish the wrong dog! I told Terrence to peek on the dogs once in a while when we're home to see if we could catch one of them in the act. This only happens when we're home as they don't have access to the bedroom/bathroom when we're out. Well, we tried for a few days and we never managed to actually see it happen, and I would still find clothing (mainly underwear) around the bedroom floor. Today though, I finally caught the culprit, and I didn't even need to be sneaky! I was in the bathroom, and Reuben, right in front of me, started pulling clothes out of the laundry basket! GEEEEZ, are dogs crazy or what?! They can always find new ways to get up to mischief. I gave him a smack and he quickly gave me a guilty/cute look to get out of it. Sigh, what do I do with my nutty boys? I think it's time to get one of those IKEA vertical laundry baskets so that my clothes stay out of reach!

5 years, WOO HOO!

Terrence and I celebrated 5 years together yesterday :) I know it's not an impressive number compared to people who have been with each other for 50 years and counting, but I think it's pretty cool for people our age, and he's my first boyfriend too! (Not that I'm complaining *grin*) We didn't do anything spectacular as we're trying to save as much as we can at the moment, but we did go out for yum cha and had a look-see at Ikea. Boring, I know, but we're just happy to spend time with each other, even if it's just rotting at home, LOL.

Apart from that, everything has been same old same old around here. As usual, still too lazy to dig out pictures to share, let's see if I will get to it by the end of the month, hee hee. I'm still obsessed with BookCrossing, I'm enjoying myself completely, and I have WAAAAAY too many books to read *grin* I'm also still in a stitching slump, but I'm getting pumped for a RR that I will be doing with some other Cyberstitchers. We won't be starting this till next year, but we're sorta talking about it and putting together a plan. We kinda know each other, so things can be flexible and I just have the feeling that this RR will be great. My RR experiences have not been great so far, my first RR was butchered by a couple of people, and there was too much drama with my second RR (which I joined reluctantly as well) to truly enjoy it. So yes, this one will be lots of fun and I'm really looking forward to it!

Alrighty, I think that's enough for a Monday, sigh, I wish weekends were longer, hee hee. I'm off now, it's time for the result show for Australian Idol. OUT!

Bum Bum BUMMER

Yes, I'm lazy. I promised I would share a little bit about my holiday, but I still haven't done anything. The photos are scattered everywhere at the moment, there are some on my laptop, some on Terrence's computer, and I'm not sure if some are still on the memory cards. I have been quite disorganised, and haven't quite had the motivation to get everything back in order. So you will have to wait a little while more (hopefully not too long). It really wasn't that exciting, hee hee...so in a way, it's not a big deal *grin*

I didn't stitch at all on my holiday, and I haven't stitched since I'm back. I've just sorta been groovin' along, taking things easy and getting back into the swing of things. I'm sure I will get back to stitching soon, I just don't feel like I have to hop right back into it. I have been enjoying my reading, bookcrossing has really opened me to heaps of books and I'm really enjoying it so far. Btw, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jodi Picoult's 'My Sister's Keeper', but be warned, the tears will come, better get the Kleenex out. I read this on and between flights, and boy did I sob, LOL. People were staring at me curiously at airports, and the air stewardesses kept asking if I was okay. On hindsight, it was a bad choice to read that book on the plane, cos I gave myself a massive headache, and I already get motion sickness when I'm travelling, it was not a good combination at all! But yes, before I get carried away, it was a fabulous book, and I'm looking forward to reading the other books by Jodi Picoult.

Alrighty, that's it for now. I hope everyone had a good weekend, till next time! *hugs and kisses*
