Getting better

Well, Tuesday is a much better day for sure, I actually feel somewhat alive today, so I guess that's good huh? LOL. Thanks Debbi and Petra for the get-well wishes, I'm definitely feeling better. I still don't feel a 100%, my head feels kinda woozy (my brain probably got fried from the fever, LOL), and I feel pretty weak, but at least I'm able to move about, which is a huge improvement from yesterday. Actually realising I was too sick to stitch yesterday, I thought that majorly sucked, and that I must be REALLY ill, cos hardly anything stops me from stitching, hee hee. So yes, the plan today is to just take it easy, and let my body fully recover. I did wash up some dishes earlier, but right now, I'm just going to rest and watch a bit of TV and stitch. If I'm feeling up to it, I will get to the rest of the household chores later. Anyways, I will keep it short and sweet for today, I just wanted to drop a note to let people know that I am still alive and getting better. Thanks for caring! :)

PS. I just wanted to add, the only upside to being this sick is that I absolutely have no appetite to eat anything. Only chicken soup last night and a bit of cereal this morning. If this keeps up, maybe I will lose some weight! HAH!

Oh Leeny ... this is too funny. I've been sick with a head cold too and I have eaten like NOTHING with NO appetite. I was thinking it was good for the weight loss efforts, but if I keep this up, I'll pass out from no nourishment. Good luck and take care of yourself.

Hope you feel better soon!!!! When do you start working? Enjoy the rest of your vacation :-P

LOL. debbi, that's what terrence told me too, but i said, if i'm thin, who cares?! LOL. nah, just kidding! *grin* and mercy, i dont start till the end of january, so i have lots of time to bum till then, and plenty of time to prepare for my new job. anyways, thanks for dropping a line, and all the best for ur interview at the hospital!

eileen :)

oh yes, i certainly will be enjoying my bumming days! that's why i quit the restaurant at the end of 2004, i wanted some proper bumming time! lol. i am still giving tuition, but i can deal with a few hours a week :) i've never had bumming days too, i've always worked throughout school, in singapore and here, and during summer holidays of uni, it was either doing extra subjects to accelerate my degrees, or working full-time. so i will be savouring every moment of my bumming days! and i am browsing amazon right now, unfortunately they dont ship monopoly overseas, but it sure is fun to see all the different editions of monopoly! i will have to keep a lookout over here.

eileen :)

I can't help myself .... "what a bummer!" kiss kiss debbi

nope nope, no australian amazon, if i get anything from amazon, it's off the original online store based in the states.
